I dreamed I was working a shift waiting tables. I’d had so much trouble forgetting table numbers and I was trying to remember them. I did really well with my first table. Then I realized 2 more tables were sat and I hadn’t realized they were mine. I rushed over to greet them. The first table was good. I got their order and moved to the next table. It was a couple and the husband was very upset. I sincerely apologized. I started taking their order. I said something I thought would be comforting, but instead he took offense and said they were leaving. His wife felt bad for the way her husband was acting. I feared what my boss would do if he complained. I’d been sick a bunch and having a tough time getting back into the swing of things. I was trying so hard to prove I was still an excellent employee.
